Biography
Uriel joined Finexsi as a partner in charge of the Forensic division in September 2024.
Prior to joining Finexsi, Uriel Goldberg accumulated 30 years of experience in France and the United States, including six years as an accounting and financial expert with the French National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF) and three years as a Director in a Forensic Accounting firm.
At the PNF, Uriel Goldberg participated in large-scale, complex investigations involving multinational companies. He provided magistrates with the necessary accounting and financial technical support to define relevant and effective investigation strategies. He also played a key role in negotiations related to the conclusion of Judicial Agreements of Public Interest (CJIP) conducted by the PNF.
Uriel Goldberg began his professional career at Arthur Andersen and subsequently held internal accounting and finance positions in France and in the United States before joining the PNF.
Uriel is a certified public accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and court-appointed expert with the Paris Court of Appeal.
Areas of specialization
- Internal Investigations: Uriel is in charge of the Forensic division dedicated to internal investigations. This division aims to provide the firm’s clients, as well as their counsel, with top-tier expertise in investigations in various situations they may face (whistleblower reports, administrative or judicial investigations), under optimal budget and time constraints.
- Negotiation of Judicial Agreements of Public Interest (CJIP): In cases where wrongdoing is confirmed, Uriel can leverage his experience in negotiating CJIPs with judicial authorities to assess and justify the amount of benefits derived from potential misconduct and identify negotiation margins with judicial or administrative authorities.
