At the joint initiative of the Paris Court of Appeal, the Paris Judicial Court and the COMPI of the Paris Bar, a meeting was held on April 22, 2024 at the Pierre Drai auditorium of the Judicial Court on the subject of compensation for economic loss.
Mr Stéphane Noel, President of the Paris Judicial Court, introduced the proceedings, during which Ms Brun-Lallemand, Mr Olivier Péronnet and Mr Fajgenbaum, former members of the Court of Appeal’s working group, and Mr Gayet and Ms Marcadé, representing the Court’s 3rd Chamber and the Court’s intellectual property chambers, spoke in turn.
A lively discussion ensued, initiated by the practitioners present in the room, with many questions raised.
Further meetings are planned, so that as many people as possible can take ownership of this collective approach, resulting in a market consensus.
